Description
Wordnerd 3D is a mobile word game where players take turns placing their tiles on a 3-dimensional board. Words can be played in any direction, which leads to many possibilites for scoring points!
The game is played with tiles, each of which holds a single letter and point value. Both players have a tile rack that holds 7 tiles that they can place on the board to form words. New words must be connected to at least one tile on the board. As tiles are played, players draw new random tiles from the tile bag - which holds 100 tiles at the start of each game.
Some of the tiles are special bonus tiles. The green DL (double letter) tile doubles the points of that tile. The blue TL (triple letter) tile triples it. The yellow DW (double word) tile doubles the points of the whole word. The red TW (triple word) tile triples it. Combining the different bonuses can lead to exponential point combos!
The game ends when the tile bag is empty and a player has played their last tile. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins.
